Grasscloth II builds on the foundation of Mark Alexander's core wallcovering collection, with eight meticulously crafted designs. Emphasising the beauty of natural materials, this offering brings a selection of timeless plains, textured semi-plains and rich, tactile weaves into harmonious balance.

As with the original Grasscloth collection, Grasscloth II is crafted using fast-growing, sustainable fibres, with each wallcovering meticulously handwoven on traditional looms, preserving the art of craftsmanship. Adding to its charm and complexity, Grasscloth II introduces further innovative, textured materials such as bamboo and arrowroot—a type of seagrass newly incorporated into the Mark Alexander repertoire.

Through varied finishing processes, each design finds its unique character—some are gently colour-washed, others yarn-dyed or piece-dyed—resulting in a palette that feels both naturally refined and richly layered.
